This is a series of poker tournaments that PokerStars holds every year, sort of like the internet’s World Series of Poker. Last year’s WCOOP guaranteed $40 million in prize money and ended up handing out over $50,000,000 after everything was said and done. The winner of the main event took home $1,715,200. Yes, that’s right – someone won nearly $2 million in an online poker tournament.
