I was very glad to see that Sun Poker has greatly improved its software offering. What was once a clunky, ugly software package is now user-friendly and pleasing to the eyes. All the normal features you’d expect in poker site software are here so don’t expect any surprises when you download the SunPoker software. The games are all sorted and it’s easy to find the games you’re looking for.

SunPoker Traffic

Since joining the iPoker network, the traffic at Sun Poker has improved tenfold. At the time of this review, I checked the player count at Sun Poker and it was sitting just north of 33,000 players logged in. You’ll always find the most action at the small stake tables but even the high stake tables have enough players to keep good games running all the time.

SunPoker Competition

The players at Sun Poker have a reputation for playing on the tight side but overall the competition is about average. The mix consists mostly of poor to average players with a smattering of strong players in there as well. A little table selection will take you a long ways here.
